Today's bible verse:psalms 106:1 Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love
endures forever.
As a lesson on this verse, I will break it down bit by bit to explain it then put it together. 1. Praise the Lord- How do you praise the Lord. Do you sing songs for and about him? Do you pray and actually have conversations with him? Do you read your bible? If so then good job? But today (and forever), challenge yourself to push yourself past your limits and get out of your comfort zone to praise the Lord.
2.Give thanks to the Lord- How good are you doing with thanking the Lord? we have already kind of covered the fact that you should thank the Lord but now it's time to go deeper, so in your prayers, when you pray what is it like? Do you say thank you God for this but think you wish you had that, you know, God knows what your thinking. Just this once put yourself in Gods position. You can read minds, and your best friend is thanking you about the five bucks you gave her. But when you read her mind she is thinking about how you never give her enough. You still love and forgive her but how does this make you feel? Well, that is how God feels.
3. For he is good- You may be thinking, well I know that. But why don't you show it? I mean God is really good and yet, we never show him the thanks he deserves.
4. His love endures forever- Yes, God will always love you. But does it go both ways? If you love God no matter what then show it. That means be grateful instead of negative. When you truly love one, then you do not complain, or only look for negative things in a person (not that God makes mistakes) but you look at the positive things in a person and you show you are grateful for what they do for you.
5. Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love
endures forever. This verse means that God is good and he always love you. So you should thank him and be positive of him.
